How do you top your Christmas tree?

On one of my trees I have the disney santa hats with winnie the pooh ears and on the other I have mickey. My third tree has an angel but I voted other.

Since we have an old silver tree, we have the old fashioned glass topper that most folks had in the 50's

We generally put a Santa hat on top, but last year I used my light-up Bugs Bunny in a Santa outfit that normally goes on a shelf as the tree topper instead. Not sure what we'll do this year, but when I do, I'll post pics!

Nothing. We bought a tree that is too tall for our ceiling and have to bend the top six inches down in order to stand it upright! No room for a topper.

We have a teddy bear dressed as Santa on top of our tree. It has a "victorian" look to it.

Nothing. We bought a tree that is too tall for our ceiling and have to bend the top six inches down in order to stand it upright! No room for a topper.

We did this too! We bought an artificial tree when we lived in our last house that had 9 foot ceilings and cathedral ceilings. This house has 8 foot ceilings, and the tree is a 9 foot tree! We can't put the top section of the tree up and it looks weirdly truncated. Oh well, maybe my dream house someday will have tall ceilings!

we go back and forth with an angel and a bow. one year we did a whole ribbon tree, so we did a bow. another it was a blue and silver tree, we did an angel. so it depeneds. I don't remember us ever using a star though.

I voted Star. Sometimes it's an Angel, we switch off and on at home.

BUT, I wanted to put up a Disney tree at work. My entire office is Disney and I thought a Disney tree would be cute. I have lots of Disney ornaments and I was going to put them all on there and then buy the Tinkerbell tree topper, since she is my favorite. Well, my MOTHER HAD A COW--not a calf, a COW!! I know, I'm 36 years old--this shouldn't be an issue. But she basically told me it was sacrilegious to put Tinkerbell on top of a Christmas tree. She made me feel so awkward, I decided not to do a tree in my office. We do have an office Christmas tree, I just thought it would be fun to have one in MY office. Oh well, it's not the end of my world. And, I guess if I really really wanted to, I'd do it any way.
