How do you teach someone to take a pill???

Have her dring thru a straw. There is something about the way you suck thru the straw that prevents the toung from catching the pill in the back of the throat.

We tried EVERYTHING....and I mean everything mentioned here and then some to get DS to swallow a pill. Somebody finally told me the straw trick(might have been right here on the DIS) and Voila! like magic he can swallow anything as long as he has a small amount of water and a straw.
