I am the "right" weight for my height, 5'8"-142lbs. So my BMI is 21.6.
I lost almost 50lbs over 6 years ago, so I can't say that I'm not happy. But that's not the same as saying that I'm happy with how the weight is distributed
I agree with whoever the PP was that mentioned lean muscle mass vs. body fat. I may weigh only 12-15lbs. more than I did in high school, but I know that I have quite a bit more body fat and less lean muscle now than I did then. And there is no way I could wear the same size pants I did in high school!
I realize that some of that is due to pregnancy and childbirth, but a fair amount is due to my not working out and toning up those areas.

I've seen pictures of my mom when she was my age and she looked about my weight. I asked her how much she weighed at that time- it was 20 POUNDS less than what I weigh!!

. I have a hourglass figure so I can end up looking heavy if I'm wearing something loose.
