We have a motorhome and our first visit to FW is in dec.
How do you guys set up your site? We were lucky enough to get a premium site, but how do you secure a 10x10 canopy on the cement? How about keeping the rugs from blowing away? We usually stake this stuff down. Suggestions, and any other tips, please.
Thanks

We are usually lucky enough to stake 2 legs in the ground and tie off 2 to our TT. We usually keep ours at the front or back.

As for rugs/ground cover the cooler usually holds that.

I have a 12x12 canopy and I use 4 5 gallon buckets filled with water and then ratchet strap to each corner. That's 40lbs on each corner. It always worked well for me.

We bought canvas collapsable buckets, army surplus, and fill garbage bags with water to add weight. We bought them just for use on the concrete at Disney, an it worked out fine. Light weight and small to pack, but holds things down great.

5 gallon homer buckets with lids from home depot, fill them with water when you get there, when not in use they can back stacked and stored. As for mats, just keep a chair, cooler or table on them and they dont seem to want to wander away. I use that when I am in paved sites and need the extra canopy.
