How do you "say" a name?

I was trying to do a quest and had to "say" something. Tried typing it. Nothing happened. Any thoughts?

How do ya'll do this? It's completely frustrating! I go to Shipyard Graveyard and then it tells me to find a gem some place, but I go to the places it would logically be and it tells me I have to have some other pin, that I think I cannot get until I do this one? I feel like a complete idiot and I've been trying to get on for over a year. Now I'm on and I'm not having fun.

To say something you have to type it and press enter.

The order you have to go in to get the 3 tomorrowland magic (see pin guide if you don't know what they are) is

Deep sea diving magic
Car magic
Space suit magic

You are able to go to the inner-space shop after getting these. The player's guide gives hints and tips, as well as spoilers if you really need them for this quest.

I think what you are doing is you are going to the grotto. But you do not have diver pin. What you need to do is go to Small World imports and buy Lumiere. He is also in the groto. But you need to buy him not go there.

It confuses a lot of players. There is also a players guide for quests that will help you when you get stuck. Go up to the stickers and look for players guide

You know what else is cool when I did that quest it came up "congratulations you already have the item in your inventory to complete this task" I was happy I didn't have to buy another one!

Anytime you need an item for a quest - if you already have it, you will get this message. Hint: If you KNOW you need an item in a quest before beginning it, never hurts to put it in your "pocket" ahead of time.
