How do you relieve stress?


I de-stress by driving with the music up......LOUD!! Of course, it must be by myself - adding children adds stress LOL

I actually just made a playlist on my iPhone titled "Stress Relief" with a bunch of loud, fast tempo music. I popped in my earphones this afternoon for a quick moment of relaxation. Oddly enough, quiet or soothing music just makes me feel frustrated and jittery when I'm stressed. I love Nickleback's "Burn It To The Ground" when I'm stressed and angry.

If I'm stressed and tired, though, I like a hot bath. And a glass of good wine. No certain order, together is even better.
 
Going for a nice walk helps me, but if I can't get out of the house a glass or two of wine works just fine.
 
Riding with the top down on my sports car. Even a short drive makes a huge difference.
 
Two things really help me:

1. Talking to friends/family, I mean chewing their ears off about what's stressing me out. I always feel better after wards.

2. Taking a long drive.
 
I write or read. Sometimes, I just go sit in a theme park and watch everyone else.
 
Taking a walk, sitting in the sun.
Talking with my BFF.
A good cry!
Sometimes I have to try and nail down what's causing the stress. Then I can focus on either solving that one problem, or trying to let it go.
Praying.
