How do you rebook on SWA?

Can anyone help me? I already have five tickets and now the prices have dropped. What do I have to do to get the credit? Rebook?

Call SWA and rebook at the lower rate. The agent on the phone will help you or walk you through doing it online after they cancel your tickets you can use the credit yourself over the internet.

When I had to make flight changes the agent had me look up the fares while I was on the phone with her and see the price was still available, then she cancelled my old tickets in her computer, and told me to proceed through the booking process like I did when I initially booked them online and click the "use previous credit funds" tab or whatever, and then they were applied. Very easy!

This can all be done online also. Just go to the Travel Center on Southwest's website: Southwest Travel Center and click on "Change Air Reservation" and enter required info. It will bring up your current reservation, you can then change one or both legs of your trip.

Also, if you call back and ask, they will refund the savings back to your credit card. You do not have to take SWA credit. Have done is several times with no problem.

Great idea - DH and I booked one-ways on seperate occasions (long story) and the total came to $310.00. I just went back in and canceled both reservations and then went on and used the $310 credit to purchase the same airfare (roundtrip) and saved $40 which isn't a lot but every bit helps. I am going to call and see if I can get a refund in that amount since we decided this will be our last trip for quite some time (need to start saving to start a family Good luck everyone!!
