from the DisBoards?

I am so totally addicted to these doggone boards that I cannot seem to tear myself away once I am on.. It's embarrassing! I am getting nothing done because of it...:(

How about you guys? Do you let things go, ignore things, miss appointments, meals, whatever because you are on the computer Dissing?

What do you finally tell yourself to tear yourself away from these boards??

I'm right there with you neighbor--I get on the computer to read a couple of posts and end up staying for hours.

My cat has decided to give up waiting for me to come downstairs, so she started climbing up in my lap while I'm on the computer--its the only attention she gets

I have 3 mother's day cards/gifts that need to get mailed today, but Dising is so much more fun.

I am taking DS to The Strike Zone on Pelham Rd later--that may be the only time I get off.

only thing that pulls me away is a good ol' dose of reality TV! ooh..that reminds me...AI results show on tonight and Survivor on tomorrow!

It's difficult, isn't it?;)

I usually try and make deals with myself. Like, if I fold the laundry and scoop the cat box, then I can DIS. And then if I walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes, then I can DIS.

But like Dan said, I could lose weight on here, because my kitchen is very far away from the computer.:teeth:

I'm DISing at work so I'm lucky in that if I don't get off, I will be fired

I do agree, they are addicting and I love every moment.

I work at home but I still have the same problem. It's like I need to go to DIS detox or something...I knew there was a thread about it...maybe I should sign up with them.

I wish I knew. After all these years and posts, I haven't been able to tear myself away.....:teeth:

Of course

wow small world. I actually live in Duncan-not far from the BMW plant (that exit anyway). There are a couple of us here onthe DIS from this area--we should be easy to spot : we're probably the ones with the starving families from neglect due to our obsession with these boards.
