No matter how you pronounce it, I call it bad. DH and I are in the minority, I know, but we were so disappointed by the whole experience. The pretzel bread was yummy but everything else was mediocre at best.
Hope we just had an off night and that your experience is better!
In Parisian French, "le" is like "look" without the K ... "sell-YAY" or (less commonly) "sell-YARE." (R being one of the few letters in French that's pronounced at the end of the word.) The I and E form a diphthong. /linguistics major
I can't speak for the Canadians, but I've never gotten a funny look from the CMs there by saying it that way.

This question was asked before and I couldn't explain the pronounciation of "e" in le since the "e" doesn't sound like a short or long vowel "e".
A few years ago when I called to make a reservation...I said Le "sell-yay" (as you explained it above) and the CM said...oh, you mean La sell-ee-er..... I said, "no...I mean Le sell-yay..." and he proceeded to say..."yeah, that's what I said"
