Would someone please tell me how to pronounce Le Cellier so I don't seem like a complete idiot when I call to TRY and get ADR's? :confused3

yep, that's the way to pronounce it. A warning however, many of the CMs taking ADRs have no clue as to how to say it. So don't be surprised to hear some really off the wall versions. :teeth:

Yep.

When I called to make ADR's I had no clue... I said uhh Le Cell.... the one in Canada in Epcot because for some reason I thought that sounded less stupid

My CM pronounced it Leh-Cell-yer :rotfl:

DW says it is "Luh-cell-yay" with the accent on "yay" :sunny:

Yup!

(Did you know that when I tried to post this, it said my message had to be at least five characters long? Well it's at least five characters now!)

gee, I would think it would be pronounced Le Cell e uh although Dave Coulier from full house pronounces it cou lee a so I guess it could be the later???

Yes. Cell e a just like Cartier is Cart e a.

Coming from 13 years of French at school, this is the correct way! :goodvibes

I believe it can mean "storeroom" or better yet, "wine cellar". :drinking1

Almost everyone I know pronouced it Lay Cell-yer hehe. Thats what I thought it was until I saw the Food Networks special on Disney Weddings.

The R is silent. "Luh-cell-yay" with the accent on "yay" is correct.

OK, OK. Now that we know what to call the place, lets eat! :thumbsup2 I will have the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, and could you bring out some extra pretzel bread 'cause it sure is good dipping it into that wonderful soup. And anyone of the Filet Mignons will do.

Take it from a Louisianan.
I'm going to :stir: stir the pot :stir: somewhat here, and point out that Le Cellier would have a French Canadian pronunciation and not Cajun. :rolleyes1

YUP! DH & I are sitting at LeCellier and you know when the Servers come over and give you the history of the restaurant....I then asked..."how exactly do you say it"...Server tells me...."great, what does it mean?"....Server, "the cellar"....ooooo, I probably should have known THAT MUCH!!!! I felt a little like a "moron" after that question and answer......UGH... :rolleyes2

Also, when I made the ADR, YUP, "Hum, that restaurant in Epcot in Canada".... ::yes::
