How do you prefer to book your trip trough Disney?

Good morning Meloneyb21,

I like using the phone to make my reservations. At times I do check online for rates before I call. You daughter is a littel cutie!

I think I'm going to use the phone this time around....and thank you :goodvibes .

I've used "Small World Vacations" for my last couple of Disney trips and they have been great. (Note, I'm not affiliated with them :)

I like to phone in my booking. I guess they can tell that I'm excited about my up coming trip and then they sound excited that I'm going and it's just more "magicial".

We booked our first 2 trips on-line with disney.com, this third one was renting points from a friend and we stayed at OKW, but our preference is to book online, I like the visual compared to a voice, also I print the confirmation out right away with everything on it. The only problem we've had is the vacation insurance that is checked online doesn't show up if you call later to change/add anything, they have to call somewhere else to get it confirmed as it won't show up on their screen, which sounds really strange to me.

sigh....it's almost a whole YEAR before we can go back? :rolleyes1

I book our trips by phone to WDW. I like have the contact. Sometimes I get extra info from the CM's that I wouldn't know about it.

We, or I do the same. I prefer to exchange info with a person. We have a calendar in front of us, all our info, window of travel times and resorts, first and second choices. If we do not get a CM thats easy to understand at CRO, we hang up and call again.

We've booked 38 some trips this way, never used a travel agent, with no problems and as the above poster stated, the CM's can be very helpful and bebeficial in getting new things and ideas from. We write CM's name down, date and time of phone call and all reservation and dining numbers and when paperwork arrives from WDW, we check it and we're all set. We do not change or alter or jump around with our reservations. We pick our resort, our time for vacation and a few dining options and stay with it. I believe most reservation errors come from guests calling back and altering or moving dining or resort or even time reservations alot of times. To me, to many hands in the pot and somethings going to get screwed up.

I got a quote from Dreams Unlimited, and it was actually a little higher than going direct. I could be wrong, but I think they only have access to a block of rooms for each resort to book. So by calling WDW direct, you might be able to get a better room or view or size room, and by going through DU they might be out of that type of room. I'm not sure that is actually how it works, but that is how someone explained it to me.

We (just 2 adults) were going to book through Dreams Unlimited but I ended up with a quote that I thought was way too high. I ended up booking through Disney and ended up saving $1400. :goodvibes

I always call....I like to speak to someone...that way I know for sure they had to type in the info.

I book on the phone. This way if I have any questions I have a person to talk to. I feel more comfortable that way too, cause I figure there is less chance of any mistakes being made. Maybe false, but :confused3
