How do you pre-order Photopass CD for $99?

I went to Disney's Photopass webpage but it didn't say anything about the $99 preorder deal and there wasn't any place to order??

How do I pre-order it?

you have to pay the $99 upfront and will get emailed a code to use when ordering after your trip. You also get free shipping. If you don't end up using photopass, you get refunded.

So we get a CD for $99 containing all the photos taken of us at the parks.I assume that they would mail the CD to and we are free to print as we wish? Seems to good to be true? are there any other fees involved or is it $99 complete?

Yep, that's pretty much it! You pre-buy the CD for $99. While at the parks, get a photopass card and then let those photographers snap away!

When you get home, you can look at all of your photos and then order them onto the CD. By purchasing the CD you now own the rights to reproduce the images and print away.

I am going with my family and my friend and her family so we are splitting the cost to share one disc and will burn a second copy. Not bad for $50 per family.

There are lot's of Photopass CD swaps going on in the Budget boards if you would really like to save $$ and share with several folks.

We are doing a fmaily trip in Sept. for my parents 45th anniversary. There will be 4 families combining our cards. (that's IF I can get the rest of the herd to pay attention, of course )

How does it work when you share the PhotoPass? We will have 7 in our party and may not always be together, so when we're split up and yet want to put everyone's pics on one CD, how will that work? Do we get more than one card, or does everyone need to just remember a code/number?

per the website if you do not want the CD you must request your refund within 2 weeks of returning from your vacation!

just curious with this wording from the photopass site from the above link:

so with that, if i am reading it right, if you preorder for the special price, you cannot get a refund after you get back. or am i wrong?

I'm reading it that if you use the code to ORDER any prints after you get back, then you cannot change your mind and get a refund, which makes sense.

for those who have purchased the CD in the past, how many pictures will there be on averge? How much are the pictures if Disney prints them for you?Can you order various size prints?

This was on another forum. When someone emailed disney to ask about an expiration date they were told its only good for up to 6 months after you prepurchase.

I preordered my CD and immediately got back the code via email. A few minutes after that, I got an email saying my order had shipped...did everyone else get that too or do I need to contact Disney?

This is going to be a dumb question, but, here it goes...do you do photopass to avoid lugging around a camera? Sounds like a great idea, and to be able to eliminate another bag would be great!!
