How do you plan your days at the parks? i really never noticed that I did plan before hand, but mostly just the parks per day depending on EMH a few months in advance. Our plans usually always changed for the days, but we just winged the days at the parks we planned, although I did plan to get fast passes in the morning for the more popular rides and then i just did whatever after.

We tend to go with the Touring Plan's crowd calendar first, choosing which parks on which days. Then we book dining next, based on which park we will be in. If there is a restaurant we really want and it doesn't fit our original schedule, we tweak with it or park hop.

After that all bets are off - we usually go for a week, so we hit MK at least twice, Epcot at least twice, and the other two at least once. Then we double back and see shows, play mini-golf, swim, or visit a resort or two. We are also big fans of early mornings in the parks and mid-day breaks - it's amazing how much you can get done in the first two hours.

I'm also one of those obsessive-spread-sheet people who puts everything down before we go, but mostly that's just to ramp up my excitement (and keep track of reservation numbers!).

We do go by the Touring plan regarding crowds/parks.
We stay 11 nights and was just there 11 nights last September so if we miss something, we just do it the next time we go. There are no kids in our group, that makes a difference in comparing plans...........we go in the morning and we never like to be in the parks/heat/sun after 12n, unless we are eating lunch and we leave afterwards. We go back out at night. We are on the DLX Dining, others in our group are on the Premium package, that and the only quick service we do is Earl of Sandwich! All other meals are sit down meals. :cool1::offtopic: We love exploring the resorts, eating at the nice table service restaurants. We watch the fireworks from California Grille, Narcoosees.....if we had kids with us, I am sure our plans would be totally different!

I use tourguidemike and check his crowd day suggestion, then I do dining and then depending on the age of the child I will be with decide how the rest of our day and evening activities. I always leave plenty of "down" time for us:)
