How do you plan when to go to Disney?

What is the main or most current factor that determines when you take a Disney vacation?

We planned our first trip around our DD's National Gymnastics meet. We had wanted to take a Disney vacation before but never did it for one reson or another.

Now that the trip has come and gone, we are hooked. Now it all depends on when my DH can take off from work. He has to schedule his vacations when the Dr. he works for takes his vacations. So right now, the Drs next major vacation is in October 2006, so thats our plan.

We go when the kids are in school. I have no problems taking my kids out for a few days in order to not have to deal with the crowds.

since we do...I love it so few plan according to crowd size....love to walk on all the "biggies" over and over and over with no wait!

rats just read it again and realized discounts and low crowds usually go hand in hand so maybe that is not such a good thing

since we are passholders, and live in miami...

we will go up if we have a 3 day weekend or some time off from work. we'll stay on property or with family that live there.

I said crowd, that is important ot me, but weather is # 1 key... the summer is just too darn hot for me!

We go twice a year....once in the summer (our best friends can only go then) and then we go with just the 3 of us either in September or December. It's hard not ot go for the Christmas season, it is so beautiful!
