I'm planning out our ADRs for our first family WDW trip in Sept 2012 (DD 4, DS 7), and I've gotten some great advice from these boards about how to arrange them to allow us some sort of flexibility. In summary, these include scheduling breakfast/lunch ADRs in the parks so you dont have to rush off to dinner in the middle of your fun. Also, having resort ADRs also makes a lot of sense b/c (1) you dont have to be tied to a certain park for the day and (2), since we will have a car, they seem quicker to get to.
The 3 resort ADRs we are planning include Boma, Ohona, and 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella. If we happened to be in a close resort the day of our ADR (either AK for Boma or MK for the others), would it be worth trying to get to them directly from the park? Or is it way easier to drive directly from the resort (we are planning on POFQ)?
Any advice from those that have gone straight from a park to a resort where they *haven't* been staying would be great!
Thanks!
