My family's trip is coming up soon, but I don't know which restaurant is in which park. Is there some sort of list? I've never been to any restaurants in WDW so I don't know which restaurants to choose from... Can anyone tell me which restaurant is best in each park?:confused3

thanks:goodvibes

This website is a great place to start. They have all of the menus.

We don't do a lot of eating in the parks, but I'm looking forward to Le Cellier in the Canada section of Epcot. If you want that one, make sure to reserve 90 days before your arrival date. Have fun exploring and reading reviews!!!

definately take a look at the menus and see what appeas to you. infortunately, you will hear good and bad reviews on EVERY restaurant so it's best to go with your gut, we have always used trial and error and been fine. good luck!

Everyone has their own personal favorite restaurants. Personally, I prefer eating in the parks so I don't lose too much time traveling to different resorts for dinner. I have only been to Disney World twice, so I still hate losing any extra time that could be spent in the parks. My daughter is only seven. We are still very much into family oriented and character dining.

My favorite MK restaurant is Crystal Palace - great character interaction and a wide variety of food.

My favorite DHS restaurant is Sci Fi. You will see some bad reviews on this site, but my daughter and I loved this place on our last trip. Service was great and the ribs were the best.

Epcot has so many great Restaurants. I loved the atmosphere at Coral Reef. We had lunch there and we were right new to the window.

My favorite meal at AK was breakfast at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. :)

Check out the menus and go to places that appeal to you. You will hear good and bad things about every restaurant in Disney here on the boards. DH and I love San Angel Inn in EPCOT and Sci Fi in DHS. We try to go to new places each time we visit.

I agree that looking at the menus is a good way to decide if a restaurant is right for you. Then I make a list of where I think I would like to eat and see if there are duplicate types of restaurant (for example, two Italian restaurants). Good luck

the parks, I will be in, the menus and some reviews.

There is a sub thread on this board for restaurant reviews that will give you an idea of what people think. You will get a wide variety of opinions on most restaurants. Unless the restaurant is universally panned (even those generally panned have fans), look at what types of food and atmosphere you are interested and take a chance. For example, I enjoy the western national park lodges. Artist Point's interior is designed after some of the more famous examples. I have read comments that the restaurant interior is austere or not fancy. It's not. It's the way it's supposed to be. Preferences and experiences in food and service are also common.

We usually do pick restaurants based on what park we will be at. We don't always pick a restaurant IN the park. For instance, we have eaten at the monorail resorts when at MK for the day, and we like to go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner on AK day.

If you want to know what restaurants are at which park, you can go to the DIS home page, click on Menus, and then search by location. Put in the park, and a list of each restaurant in the park will pop up.

Reading these boards and asking any questions you have about a particular restaurant (location, how to get there, etc) is GREAT! But you will have someone hate and another person love every single restaurant, so you have to go with what sounds yummy/fun to you!

Best of luck!!!

There are sooooo many places but after many years of try n see if you like it, my family has a few "must eats": Le Cellier in Canada, probably one of the best filet mignon's I've ever had. Been there for the last 5 years in a row and it never disappoints. Mama Melrose in Hollywood Studios, we are carb-a-holics!! O'hana's the food is great especially the bread pudding desert.

I'm sure everyone does it different. Like you, this is my first real attempt at making ADRs. What I did was go to the Disney website and look at their restaurant offerings. I made a list of those that looked interesting to me, and then I followed the DIS boards closely for reviews. For the most part, my first impressions of what I thought I wanted were confirmed by the DIS boards. More than anything, i was looking for "atmosphere." I wanted something fun for the kids - something they'd remember and think "WOW! That was really cool."

This is our list:

Garden Grill Character Dinner (first night there)
Whispering Canyon (lunch)
Cape May Character Breakfast (might cancel)
Ohana (dinner)
Crystal Palace Character Breakfast
50s Prime Time Cafe (Lunch)
Sci-Fi Drive In (Lunch)
Tutto Italia (?) - (Dinner)
Teppan Edo (Dnner)

Basically I made one meal reservation each day. The remaining meals we'll eat in our room at the resort.

The only place that I *really* wanted to eat that I've changed my mind about is Coral Reef. I'd still like to eat there for the atmosphere, but the menu doesn't appeal to me and - together with the fact that it got so many bad reviews - I've chosen to spend my money elsewhere.

Good luck. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer.
