How Do You Make the Most of Your DVC Membership Outside of Park Visits?

Is the springs better for a shot at disney springs view? I've never heard of that one, I just thought congress park would guarantee that for some reason 🤣🤣
No, Congress Park is the one with the DS view - see map here: https://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/SSMap.pdf. Congress Park is the "F" section, and DS would be at the bottom of the map, under the blue boxes. Springs is the "D" section and is the closest to the feature pool and dining.

I've seen a couple videos recently of Congress Park. It's literally across the water from Disney Springs and could be called DVC Disney Springs. 🤣 I don't know if there's still a drone show at the springs, but a family staying in Congress Park had an amazing view when they walked to the water from their room. And, nobody else was viewing from there. One person timed their walk to Disney Springs at around 6 minutes from their room.

IMO, Adults could make an entire vacation at the FORMER Disney Springs area…. Back when there was a Pleasure Island.

THEE best attraction Disney ever imagineered, was actually a bar. The Adventurers Club.
(Comedy Warehouse was also good)

If you’ve never been, I feel badly for you.
You truly do have no idea what you missed.

KUNGALOOSH !!!

Going to slightly correct you from my point of view.

The best Pleasure Island Club was COMEDY WAREHOUSE!

And Kungaloosh to you in memory of those good old days!

Back in the day we used points to stay at beautiful resorts on Maui (Kapalua) and Big Island of Hawaii (Mauna Lani). Not the best bang-for-the-buck, but they were high-end resorts that we loved so never regretted doing that. Liked Hilton Head but not fond of it not being on the beach. Vero is nice but a little too quiet if you want more variety than beach time. Aulani is gorgeous and we eventually bought points there to have 11 month advantage, since we go there every winter.
SSR, OKW, and AKL are favorite options for WDW non-park stays. Have tried staying at BWV (home resort) for non-park vacations but it is too hard to be so close to 2 parks and not go to either.
