How Do You Make Flat VMKers?

Please I need some help I tried making one but I couldn't get it

Well, make a screen shot of your VMK character (if you don't know how to do this, see players guide at top). Then what I did was crop it down (I used Kodak EasyShare, but you should use whatever picture software you have. Then I put it in Word and printed it out. I'm SURE there is an easier way to do all this...but I am techno-challenged. But if I can do it, anyone can!

I then took it to Staples to have the plastic put on it (sorry, I am braindead right now and can't think of the term). Edit: LAMINATED...that's the word! Put it on a stick and voila! You have a VMK flat.

Good luck!

I just covered mine with clear packing tape. Unfortunately I stuck it in the sugar bowl at the Kona Cafe before I took any pictures. :sad2:

I wonder what the CMs at Kona thought of it? :rotfl2:

How big have some of you made your flats? Are you just taking them from the screenshot or resizing them and making them a little bigger. When I do that of course it makes it a little fuzzy.

I stretched mine to where I wanted it. They are about, oh, 3-4 inches long total (including the surrounding background). Make them whatever size you want. Mine are also a little fuzzy. But they work just fine.

Mine are about 4" high -- enlarged them just a bit so they didn't get that distorted. I took a screen shot, then enlarged it in Paint Shop Pro. I would assume that you could also use Paint to paste your image in there, but not sure how to enlarge it from there. I guess Word would be another option for enlarging. After I printed out our flats, I used colored pencils to darken the outlined areas that became a bit fuzzy due to enlarging. Then I had them laminated, and cut that out as well :). Ta da! Flats to go!
