On our last trip, my dd wanted a book that would have ALL the characters that she wanted to see. So it turned out to be about 225 pages. She loved it (I guess that what matters !!!!). She ended up getting over 100 different autographs. This was due to the fact that we went to
MNSSHP twice and saw many "off the beaten path" characters.
To keep the book from being 8 inches thick, I used 28 lb paper (from Office Max). and printed it at home. I also trimmed the pages at home. Then I took it to Kinkos and had it spiral bound. I like to bind it on the top so that pages are easier to scan into my computer for scrapping.
Because I knew there would be a lot of pages, I designed the book to be very ink friendly. It ended up costing about $20 but the interactions with the characters was definitely worth it. They really make a fuss and have a lot of fun with the personalized pages.
Our new book (2010 pages) is going to be much smaller. She has decided that she does not want any characters that do not sign ( like the Monster's Inc Characters) . I will probably print them on lightwieght cardstock because there is more ink involved.
We carry the book in a ziploc in our knapsack in case of rain. We have never had a problem. We also put the characters in alphabetical order so that they are easy to find.
Oh and yes...........feel free to use anything from my photobucket. It's there to share!
