How do you make a thread sticky?

Just wondering how a thread becomes sticky? besides spilling something on it

The moderators have to discuss if the topic is worthy to become a sticky.

I was wondering if I/we can start another paying forward thread and make it sticky OR just use the one that is already going. It has remained active since Jan or so.

You would need to contact the moderators of the theme park boards and ask them. You can find the links on the front page of the DIS boards. It lists the moderators for each forum.
