How do you make a division symbol on the computer?

You know the one that is like a house with the big number on the inside and the little number outside. I want to make a worksheet with division practice bu I can't figure out how to make the division house. While you are answering, if you know how to make the other one-- the one that looks like a minus sign with a dot on top and bottom--let me know how to do that too.

If you're in Word, the division symbol with the dots can be found insert>symbol. Just scroll through until you find it. The house you can make with lines. Or you can go to http://themathworksheetsite.com/ and let them make it for you. I hope this helps.

I had tried the symbol thing before posting and didn't see the division sign. After you two posted that, I went to the symbols chart again and low and behold, there it was.

In most programs, you can type it by holding down the <alt> key, then typing 0247 on the numeric keyboard. Like this ÷
