How do you like Tusker House breakfast buffet?

We ate there in April and had the latest breakfast seating. We waited over 30 minutes for our party of 6 to be seated and I was mad because we wasted valuable touring time, the kids were hungry and getting VERY fussy by the time we got seated. I've heard others mention long waists as well. IF we go back, we'll do the first seating before the park opens.

Anyway, once we got seated our server was very good, provided good service along with many corny jokes - loved it! Loved the juice, found the buffet well stocked with an excellent variety of very good food, all fresh and yummy. There were no plates for cereal and one of the CM's at the buffet brought them out to us in about 15 seconds after I asked. The character interaction was fast, not quite as "blink or you'll miss them" fast as at Breakfastosaurus, but faster than many of the other character meals, about the same as Chef Mickeys. It was really fun to see Daisy, she was one of the reasons we booked TH, but she was only stopped for a few seconds and I had to get the handler to bring her back so I could get a picture with my daughter! Not a problem, they brought her back over right away. All the CM's were very good there.

Next trip, we will probably try Yak & Yeti instead.

VERY LOUD. VERY, VERY LOUD--and we had the first seating. We were seated very quickly and service was quite good. Foods were good, but mostly standard breakfast buffet fare. A few dishes with an African twist, but nothing remarkable. Tables are very close toegther and did I mention it is LOUD?

This was our favorite breakfast last trip. The buffet was GREAT - I was thrilled to find regular slices of white bread and dh loved the made to order omelets.


We did see Daisy too, and the little dance the kids get to do with the characters was really cute.

This was the kids all dancing...our server came and scooped our kids up, handed them maracas and led them to the middle of the party.

Daisy was a dear - she initially signed dd's autograph book with ds's regular pen, and dd immediately started having a meltdown because she didn't use her sparkly princess pen. She is sorta OCD that way - will just die if she plans something one way and it doesn't go that way - and running on 5 hours sleep didn't help either, ha. I just started apologizing but Daisy instead took the sparkly pen off the table and resigned over her autograph with it and all was fair in the land again. <sigh...women>

This is my favorite breakfast in all of WDW.

The food here blows away the food at Donald's Breakfastsaurus by a long shot. Also, the character interation is so much better. I like the openness of this buffet in comparison to the older breakfast as well.

This is a must for us.

We ate here during our Easter trip and it was one of our favorite meals! We will be planning on going back for sure!
