Hi

I've been to Disney 5 times, but have never done a dining program.

How do you know what credits are left on your card?

Do they give you a receipt telling you???

So if all credits are on all room cards, and your party splits up, will it show that someone else in the room used some of the credits that day when you go to use the card yourslef?

Hope I explained that okay.

Thanks

I've read that there is a summary of your remaining credits printed at the bottom of each receipt

The receipts you get at the restaurants will only give you remaining credits for that type of restaurant. So if you are at a CS place your receipt will say '10 CS credits left' or whatever... If you want a full breakdown of all types of credits you can get it at guest services in the lobby of your hotel.

Does each guest get their own card with a list of their own points (i.e., 2 adults 2 kids = 4 cards)? Or does it stay with one person. Can you split up a group (i.e, 2 adults with 2 kids split up and go to 2 different places) and have only 1 card? Need to know - planning a trip with a potential group of 12 people (4 families)

When you check in, each person in the room will get a room key with their name on it. All of the credits will be on each key. If there are 4 people in the room staying for 4 nights, each key will have 16 CS, 16 TS, and 16 snacks on it.

Once a credit is used, it will be deleted from the total. The group doesn't have to be together to use the credits.

In order to keep track of everything, you may want to tell everyone to keep all receipts.

Quick followup question - if you get the Magic Your Way with the Dining option, isn't your admission 'ticket' coded into your room key as well? Can you request to have them separated? So your dining and room key would be one card, and your park admission would be another?

Thanks,

KC

It is all together on 1 card, it is your room card which is your resort ID with your name on it. This is what you would use for EMH as well. We had the plan with 6 of us and didn't have a problem even when we split up. Kept the receipt and we always met for dinner (TS), so basically it was snacks and CS that we were split up on.
