How do you know if a stateroom can hold 3 or 4 people?

We booked our May cruise last June through DVC. I told them we have 4 people. We wanted an adjoining room with another couple we are cruising with who also have 2 children........They put us in rooms 6612 and 6614. The Passporter cruise guide lists room 6612 as one that only holds 3 people! Wouldn't DCL know this and NOT put us in there with 4 people? I know I need to call DCL and get an answer but they are closed right now and thought someone could answer my question. It is driving me crazy! It would not be good if it only held 3 people! HELP!!

Don't worry!!! Calm down!!! There have been several discussions recently on this board about the inaccuracies of the new Passporter in regards to cabin occupancy.

DCL would NEVER book you in a cabin that holds less than what your party size is.

Even the people at Passporter have admitted that they were given wrong info about the cabins occupancy limits and therefore inadvertantly listed them incorrectly in the Passporter.

Trust DCL on this. Their computers would not let them book the cabin if it did not hold the amount of people it is supposed to.

If you have four people in your group, your cabin will hold 4.

It is literally impossible for DCL to book you in a room that holds less than the number listed on the reservation. The computer system only allows them to book rooms that fit the party size.

Unfortunately Passporter's room list has caused a lot of unnecessary panic among folks who believe that their room holds less than it actually does.

Please don't worry, your room will definitely hold four. Have a magical cruise!

If they booked you there then it can hold 4...the passporter also has my room listed as a catagory 8 when it is really a catagory 6!
