Our upcoming trip is getting close. But in between trips can get very long. How do you keep the "MAGIC" going in between trips.

As well as keeping up to date with these boards we have made our computer room our little piece of disney!!

Take a look :D

I watch movies read books and DIS DIS DIS til I can't stand it.....:)

My den is my Disney room. This is the room I DIS from. Have WL flag family cert framed on the wall. Also WL villas pic, WDW 10thyr anniv pic, pic from Key West, Donald & Daisy pic, Mickey & friends poster all up on the walls.
Then on shelves I have more Disney pics, Chef Mickey's birthday placemat, photo albums, etc. On the shelf also have the WDW/DCL videos, WL & PO mugs, DVC info, etc.
Yup this is my Disney room and the boys know it's my room !

now that Im sitting here just needed to add that I also have a collage I made from postcards I bought from our Nov 02 trip - tree of life, MGM sorcerer hat, tree of life, castle, etc
and I cant forget our Rock n Roller picture - 1st big coaster for DS10 so we had to get the pic !!
And my pin lanyard hangs on a door knob - rest of my pins are in my pin collecting book on 1 of the shelves
Tammie - no I didnt forget the Mickey cookie jar

Wow ! this room has lots of Disney !!

Great room John! I DIS and attend DISmeets whenever possible. We had one here in Peterborough last night and are having one in Mississauga on Feb 9. Any chance of you getting to that one?

I used to visit the Disney Store, but that's not very magical anymore. Now I stick to watching the movies and reading books on Walt or Imagineering, etc. And think endlessly about the next trip. :D

I love love that room!! I am determined to turn my master bath into a Disney Room but I have no idea where to start! It would take ripping out walls and I have no idea what plumbing costs...LOL!

But until then I buy Snowglobes, WDCC or Lenox figures and spend time talking to my DIS friends and planning the next trip!

BTW the boarder is gorgeous!! Where did you get it?

My DW wanted me to add this updated picture of the room with our framed puzzle hung on the wall. We did this puzzle over Christmas and is obvious of Mickey...;)

The next Picture is a close up of the Mickey Puzzle. It is hard to notice but each piece is an individual frame of various Disney movies, Alladin, Lion King, Pinnochio, 101 Dalmations etc..

The black sections were the hardest to piece together because the frames were very hard to see. Also the scenes don't necessary follow through from one piece to the next. I had to buy a magnifying glass so we could match up pieces.LOL :p

But all in all, well worth the time to finish it.

We purchased the border at Zellers here in Canada when they were selling off old stock. It only cost $2.00 for a 15 foot piece of border. Great Deal!!

Have a Disney Day!!

Wow! Simply gorgeous! You are inspiring me to get started on that bathroom!

I only have one other room I could turn into a Disney Room but its dark panneling and I couldn't paint it because it connects with our den. So the bathroom (Since I hate it anyway) is the logical choice!

I DIS...:D

Love the room....:D

I saw those puzzles this fall. That is an AWESOME room!!! We have a Pooh bathroom (well actually my dd's bathroom) but I get my fix going to Dis meets, planning Dis meets, getting together with some of my DIS friends once in a while and DISing.....

Did I mention anything about the DIS???? :D

Hopefully when we finish the basement it will become our Disney room - we have some lithographs we already know we want to put down there and I'd like to get some other things to put down there....I need to start saving NOW!!!! :)

That room looks great! My computer room is also my Disney room (but I have to admit that I also have Disney stuff in my bedroom). I have framed watercolors of the GF and BWI on the walls, a Mickey print, framed pictures that I took at WDW, Mickey desk accessories, etc. In my bedroom I have a framed print of the GF (the same one they have in the rooms there) as well as a print of the Wedding Pavilion and some framed pictures I took of the GF and Wedding Pavilion. To help pass the time between trips I DIS (like everyone else here, LOL!), go to DIS meets when I can, watch the Travel Channel specials on WDW and the Disney resorts, and dive into planning my next trip. For me, planning the trip is half the fun! :earsgirl:

The Dis helps, the movies help, the cd's get played a lot, and my CM DD checks in a few times each week:D

I have about 100 Mickey Beanies, 3 other shelves full of Mickey stuff, my car plate says "ILUVWDW", a drawer full of videos, some DVDs, 2 binders full of pins, my Mickey throw, picture holder, photo album, PJs, T shirts, and more other stuff than I can list, and besides all that, my initals match the Mouse!

Your room looks great!!!! I just come here and read up on Disney news to get by :)

Great puzzle - I have it but haven't done it yet.

As for keeping the Magic alive. The computer room has lots of Disney in it I have all my pins up on the wall (6 frames so far and enough for a few more). We also have a Disney Magic poster on the wall.

Downstairs in the family room we have two signs from Disney (one from the 20th anniversary celebration and one for 2000). Lots of Disney DVD's and Cd's. Best of all DH has made a number of custom CD's - our favorite park music, our favorite Disney Christmas music, etc.

Best of all we have got tons of digital pictures and my scrapbooks. Plenty to keep the magic alive.

We have ALOT of Disney stuff all over the house, and just last night my DD knowing how much I like the frozen O.J. next to the Aladdin ride.........froze some tropicana O.J. put it in a Disney cup with a straw and told me to close my eyes and enjoy!

Now that's keeping the magic alive!!
