How do you interpret this Alamo check-in now clause?

Online Check-Insm is not available with reservations that contain the following:

Reservation is over 30 days.

Does that mean we cannot reserve a car more than 30 days in advance if we plan to use check-in now?

I also see where it says you cannot use check-in now if you used a coupon for your rental. I'd give up my coupon ($25 from Costco's website) in order to skip the counter - but now I'm worrying that my reservation was booked too far in advance (pick up 4/28) so it won't matter anyway.

Plus, it does exclude the mid sized SUV which is disappointing because they have such a great rate. We elected the standard SUV but my sister reserved the mid-size and she won't be able to use check-in now.

I'm frustrated because I was so excited to find such great rates -- assuming I could skip their counter -- now worried it's too early to grab up the rates anyway.

Any thoughts?

Don't know for sure, but I would read that as talking about reservations where you are going to keep the car for more than 30 days.

Oh...I didn't even think of it that way. Makes sense.

I did make a new reservation without the Costco coupon and the reservation confirmation page had info on check-in now. This info was not included when I used the coupon. SO, I'll take that as a good sign that I can use it -- booking now for my April pick up.

Thanks!
