How do you insert image in thread?

I'm trying to figure out how to insert an image ....can someone please explain how it is done....I clicked on "insert image" then hit go to my pictures but that's were I can't go any further

you need to upload it from somewhere like photobucket.com

1.follow the directions on how to upload a photo there,2.(right click and copy the code from under the pic-i think its the html code) 3.then when your ready to insert in one of the thread replies look for the icon that looks like a mountain w/a stamp in the corner 4. a box will come up , paste the pic there and it should come work..good luck.

I got as far as getting the picture to photobucket.com
I click on html it says "copied" but when I come back here to paste it ...the picture doesnt show up just a bunch of letters/codes
any suggestions?

ok that happened to me also..i dont think it will show you the pic until you actually post..if its still comes out w/a buch of letters when you post then maybe the wrong code is being copied..it might be the image code instead. dont worry about posting twice.
