You need to upload a photo from your hard drive to a photo hosting site (I use photobucket.com but I'm sure there are several other sites). Once your photo is uploaded, the host site will give you url address. When you have a post here at disboards you want to add a photo to, click the yellow button (insert image - on the same line of buttons as bold, italic, etc) and a user box prompt will pop up. Put the url address in that box and click ok. Voila - there's your picture!

Thanx...but some people that post on threads like show your fav pics...you can see them right then and there. That is how I was wondering how it is done....

Maybe I'm confused? But to post the above photo, I went to my photobucket acct., got the url link for it, clicked on the yellow button and pasted the link into the box that popped up. I can't think of any other way for someone to post a photo if they don't have it hosted somewhere? Hopefully someone else will come along and explain it better!
