How do you ignore a troll?

I am asking a sincere question. If you feel that someone is offensive and trying to always stir something up, do you just not look at the thread? Do you look and not post? What is your solution to still be able to enjoy the wonderful people on the DIS and not get annoyed? Thanks for any suggestions.

You could always use the ignore feature. Personally, curiousity gets the best of me and I peek and either get a laugh or just move on. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Where is the ignore list? Also, does that mean I will not see any posts or will I also not see the threads started by that person?

It's hard when they egg you on to be just as snide as they are. I plead guilty sometimes when I just can't resist. The ignore list is a godsend when you get to the point where their very existance annoys you! No temptations. I'm sure I'm on a few myself .

I tried the ignore route and it didn't work well for me...I could still see the threads and it dragged down my computer, I guess there was too much to ignore. So I decided to laugh it off more. Besides, I think there are many others who feel the way I do and their responses are quite entertaining...
