How do you handle two families doing CRT together with payment?

We are planning a trip in January with my neice and her family of four. We are wanting to eat at CRT, but was unsure of how we could each pay our parts of the reservations. Do we have to put it all on one reservation/payment and then just work it out between ourselves or does Disney allow more than one payment type? Merging of two reservations possible?? We are a party of 5 plus her party of 4.

Yes if you want to sit together book it as one party. With CRT you have to pay in advance so I would call and speak to a disney reservation person and ask how to do it. For other Table service locations the server can split the check for you
