How do you greet new people??

I was thinking about this today....
When you meet someone, like from the DIS, how do you greet them??
I usually shake hands...
Are you a hand shaker, hugger, kiss on the cheek??
this will help me know what to expect in december

Since you won't be meeting me in December, I debated on whether or not I should post on this thread. I'll respond anyway.

I let the other person make the first move. If they extend a hand, I shake their hand. Usually I just smile and say a quiet hello. And I don't let them kiss me or hug me. Well, if they can tell me what my middle name is, I might.

I'm personally a hello/smiler person when I first meet people. But it seems everybody wants to hug me when they meet me so if I'm approached I do, but its not how I react to others. I'm a lot shyer in life than I am here. with new people that is

Gee, Shep I had to remember how I acted when I met you. I think I just said Hi. I was so overwhelmed by meeting everybody that all I could think of was trying to remember who was who.

Normally, I just nod my head and say hi.

EROS, you are one member of the DIS that I would love to meet someday. You have made quite an impression I wonder what kind of person you are in person. I am sure that I would also just nod my head and say hi. (This is meant in the nicest of ways)

I am only a hugger if I really know a person well.
