It's bad for the baby's hips and spine to be suspended by the crotch. The way the baby kind of leans out in a Bjorn is bad for the wearer's back. Also, some babies get way too stimulated being forward facing, especially in a place like Disney, and in a Bjorn they cannot turn away from the stimulation.
The correct position for babywearing is one where the knees are above the bum. Here is a great site to learn more about it! http://www.thebabywearer.com/
you can go on most rides with the baby I took my nine month old on just about everything except the thrill rides and on those my husband would take our older daughter and then we would do child swap I would then ride with our older daughter. it was great for our older daughter she only had to wait in line once and got to ride two times in a row once with dad and then once with me.
all the boat rides and even rides with movers like haunted mansion I was able to take the baby she was nine months and I would hold her in my lap on some things like the boat rides I even sometimes kept her in the baby backpack worn on front of me I had her facing forward she was a very small baby or I just held her next to me on the seat.
no one will have to sit out you will just have to take turns. Have a great trip.
