how do you give people credits

how do you? ive seen people on the tradeing form (on the dis) saying such and such (eg.firewalls) for credits plz help me!

There are sort of two ways:
1) you trade the item for a shopping spree...that is, you give me a firewall, and I buy you X thousand credits worth of stuff from a shop

2) You use a Quest Kiosk...this is discouraged by VMK but cannot be prevented. I have a Quest Kiosk, and you give me a firewall. I set up a one person one question quest with a prize of X thousand credits, you do the quest, and win the credits.

You can not actually "trade" credits. But you can transfer it using a quest machine if you have one. That is what people are talking about when you see them "selling" there items for credit.

To do this you must have a quest machine. You block off in some way your quest machine so no one else but you and the person you are dealing with can get to it. You make a very simple quest and tell the answers to the person you are dealing with, make the prize for finishing the quest how every many credits you wish to transfer to them. Then after the quest is completed they open a trade window with you and donate to you the item in question, as a "gift" for having such a "great quest".

Be aware that asking people to "pay" you upfront to do your quest violates VMK values and can get you in trouble. So do the trade after the quest and say it is a gift. Just to C.Y.A.

This requires a lot of trust on both sides to be careful!

you can give credits through the quest machine but it's agaisnt the vmk values to trade credits for stuff. it said so when they first put the quest machines out.
