How do you get to Expedition Everest?

I know it is in Animal Kingdom, and I am assuming it is in "Asia".

Is it behind Kali River Rapids? Are there directional signs up? Is FastPass in effect during this "soft opening"?

Hoping to be on EE Sunday morning!!!

It is kinda between the Kali River Rapids and the Tarzan Show. You can't miss it. That is all I know and can't wait to ride it!!!

We were there last month and got to ride it. The FP was working, but we only had a 15 minute wait in stand-by and didn't bother with the FP.

We found the easiest way to get there was to head toward the old Tarzan Rock's theater and go around it to EE. I didn't notice signs for EE.

BTW, the ride is terrific.

Very easy to find , you can see it from many parts of the park- enter park toward the tree of life and turn toward Asia (you can pretty much see it the whole way) and you follow the pathways either to Asia directly or through Dinoland. We went through Dinoland toward Tarzan Stage at opening in the morning and it was far less crowded that way and seemed faster then other way. The fastpass is going on it already. It was a great ride!!!

With good early morning planning, you can get a fast pass then get in line and ride it twice before 11:00am.

LOOKING AT MY MAP OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM PARK, THE AREA BETWEEN KALI RAPIDS AND THE TARZAN SHOW THRU DINO LAND APPEARS TO BE NOT CONNECTED, HAS SOME WATER BETWEEN THEM. IS THERE A BRIDGE ACROSS TO EE FROM TARZAN? THIS IS AN OLD MAP THAT I HAVE. THANKS.

I have the same question as the above poster...
Here's the unedited map for reference:

In my mind i've worked out the following 2 routes:
Red - through dinoland
Blue - the 'normal' route

DAK is the park I'm least experienced with and i'm a little fuzzy with the pathways through the park. Are the following 2 routes "correct"?
Which one would you recommend?

LOL - ok I am looking at a new map and there is now a bridge connecting Dinoland to Aisa right behind Tarzan Rocks. So you can either go through direct to Asia (via Discovery Island) and then head right toward EE or go through Dinoland via the bridge behind the Tarzan building. Dinoland looks quicker!

Yes you get to ride it. during the soft opening there are spotty times when it isn't open but most of the time it is ready to roll.

Im so glad its in soft opening.. We are going a week from Tuesday and cant wait to ride it!!
