How do you get these pin codes?

Like the post below how do you get them? I know people get them in their email but how?

I got a pin for free dining in Dec through my disney visa. They sent it to me in the mail.

There is no real WAY to get them.Disney selects people randomly and does not divulge who,why, or how.To increase your chances, go to Disneyworld .com and register on the site and for newsletters ,emails etc. You may get one ,you may not. I have been registered For YEARS ,have had over 21 visits, and I just got my first one.Some people get them ,more frequently then others, and some people never get them

Having read others responses on the board regarding the same thing, I know it has to do with having contacted WDW for questions where they take information i.e booking things, asking for the trip planning dvd, signing up for things etc. At least that is how I have heard the email pins come.
After going to WDW over 20 years I finally got my very first pin this year.
I have read of many that have received pins very quickly after requesting stuff etc and they continue to receive them. And I've read about many that have received nothing over the years and still have not.
I'm happy to have finally received a pin but I dont know if there is any sure way to actually get one.
Good luck. You are not alone in not having received any. As many others have said, keep an eye out for AAA and other discounts too.

Lucky you! I just got a Disney Visa with the hopes of getting that offer. I'm glad to hear they've started, I just hope I get it soon!

I was told to request the free dvd and register on the disney web page to increase our chances. We booked thru AAA last month for Dec. trip. We recieved our free dining pin via email from our disney reward card. I use card alot and do not know if that had anything to do with getting the pin. Alot, I mean 500+points since Feb. I must say this; however. I was surprised at the lack of savings this is ultimately. Upon getting pin we called TA at AAA and she immediately made call to Disney and got everything in order but we had to pay for room and tickets at full price not our AAA discounted price. Our savings for 3 people for 6 days is $92. Not enough to stress yourself over if you don't get.
