How do you get the dining plan for free?

We're headed to DW 11/20-26 and staying @ the FWLV. Was there a promo I missed?

We booked our villa thru the DW call center. Should I have asked about dining plan options or promos? Should I call before we leave?

There was a promo for this and I think they pulled a a week or two ago.

You could try calling Disney to see if its something they can offer to you, but I would do this sooner than later. Thats also not to say that your resort was offered for your travel dates. FYI, anytime calling Disney always ask if there are any promos.

I called two weeks ago and got this plan but with the Disney Visa credit card. I am not sure if they are offering it to those that don;t have one but it's worth a try to call them and ask. I am leaving on Nov 20th as well.

You will be able to get it for those dates only if you have a Disney Visa card to book it with, and the dates and resort you want are available for booking with the discounted package. This particular offer is good only for Disney Visa cardholders and anyone who received a targeted PIN number via e-mail or postcard. From your original post I take it you did not receive a PIN e-mail or postcard.

So is the free dining promo that is in nov and dec only for those who have a disney visa?
I have gone for the last few years in Sept for the free dining and always wondered how others got free dining in Nov and Dec. That would be such an asset for us in the future as we will be looking to do a Dec trip down the road and free dining would offset the up cost of staying around the holidays.

This year is a first for them offering the free dining at a time other than the traditional Aug-Sept time frame.There were 2 ways people could have done this.1) there was a pincode that was sent out to specific people and was non-transferable that offered free dining or 2) The disney Visa promo, that was offered to book free dining.

the pincodes arrive either snailmail on a postcard from Disney Destinations, or in your email, also from Disney Destination. They are sent at random (Supposedly...course those of us who are ardent Disney fans and loyal Disney vacationers and never, ever get them are pretty sure there's some sort of conspiracy against those of us who have reservations anyhow. Just kidding...probably. ) Seriously, if you talk to anyone at Disney, they will tell you the codes are sent out randomly.
