I recently made a purchase at Bed Bath and Beyond. The lady in front of me had a fistfull of coupons--at least 10! She was buying a bunch of stuff on sale and getting a real deal. I asked her where she got the coupons, but she wasn't talking!

So, how do you get those coupons? :confused3 They said if I could bring in a coupon within 10 days of purchase they'd give me the difference. Since the coupon was for 20% off and I bought $150 worth of stuff, that's $30 I could get back. :cool1: Its really bugging me! ::yes:: I keep looking in newspapers, websites, etc but can't find any. Really, I had a dream last night that I was chasing a BBB coupon and ran off a roof and was falling......... :rotfl2: ..........woke up in bed. Please, where are those coupons?

if you go onto the bbb website (bedbathandbeyond.com) you can register to have them sent to your house - i get them every couple weeks. they're 20% off 1 item, not the whole purchase though.

I get one in the mail about once a month. It's a large coupon on card stock. There's also a coupon for BB&B in the Entertainment books (#AA16).

i've discovered that most BB&B will take the coupons after they've expired (had a friend who worked for them), and you can use as many at a time as you want I think. great deal!!!!

My local paper prints the coupons. I have also seen them in many issues of Budget Living magazine.

Ok, thanks for the responses, everyone!

I just went to Walgreen's and purchased an Entertainment Book. The book was $30, but I got my coupon! At 20% off $150 purchase, that's a savings of $30, so essentially the book is free! They told me at BBB if I brought in the coupon with the receipt they would give me the difference. Now I also have the Entertainment Book. :cool1:

Now, what is Budget Living magazine?

There's one in the Entertainment Book for 20% off one item. If you don't have a book, pm me and I'll send you mine. There are restrictions (no Henckels, Lenox, etc.). Let me know what you bought and I'll tell you if it's one of the restricted items.

Also, you might want to call and see if they still accept Linens N Things coupons. Those might be easier to find on the net.

Edited to add: Never mind. LOL!

If you ask at the store they can also add you to the mailing list. You can also add to the website.

I get a card in the mail every couple of weeks.

When make a purchase the usually either ask for phone, and zip code that get on there mailing list.

Thanks for reminding me about the coupons! I need to buy a wedding gift and they are registered at BB&B. :)

BB&B will take their own coupons if they are expired. They take Linen & Things coupons, but they can't be expired. They ususally take up to 3 coupons per order.

Both LNT and BBB take each other's coupons. Also my mom asked BBB about their coupons and they told her that they NEVER expire. I was reading LNT rules and they accept their coupons 60 days after they expire. I also asked LNT about accepting JC penny coupons and Robinson May coupons and they said they would if it was on items that were sold at both locations. Our Robinson May normally has 10% off home. Another option for LNT is to order it online (they have a lot of 20% off online coupons) and do in-store pickup to save yourself shipping. :flower:

My sister recently got married and for the reception my mom found these iron gates with 56 tea lights in them. She wanted 8 of them for my back patio. At $59.99 a pop that was a lot to swallow. So we asked all of our friends if they had any 20% off one item couons. When she had enough she took them there and the screens were on clearance AND they let her use the coupons so she got each one for $35.00. Never hurts to ask! :cool1:

BBB employees told me that

*they will take their own coupons anytime, despite the expiration date.
*you can use up to 5 on any one transaction. (e.g., 20% off each of 5 items.)

I get so many that I just recycle them! They come in the mail to me or they are inserts in the local paper.

There are two types of BBB coupons-- 20% off an item or $5 off a purchase of $15 or more. I always bring a few of each to the store in order to use the one that's best for what I end up buying!
