How do you get a job at WDW?

Just wondering.........I know of someone (a "snowbird") who is interested in working at WDW for about 5-6 months of the year, every year. How do you go about applying for a job?? And can you apply for a specific job? Any secrets, etc. please share!!!

Hi Tophee! I am a College Program alumni from Spring 05, and I must say working for Disney is a great (but sometimes trying) experience that I'm sure you'll love. The perks aren't bad either!

To apply for a job at Disney, you just need to go to disneycareers.com, create a profile, and apply for the jobs that you are interested in. I'm not sure if there is a limit or not. I'm afraid to make a profile and look, because I would probably end up quitting and moving back down .

"Snowbirds" are a great for Disney, you work there enough to keep the perks but hopefully not enough to let the daily grind get to you. When I was on my program, on of my locations was DWWS working during the Atlanta Braves spring training. Many seasonal cast members work there since they only use Crackerjack stadium a few months out of the year.

A lot of former CPs kept their ties with the company by going seasonal. Last I heard, you only have to work 2 weeks a year to keep your status.
