How do you first hear from your EM?

I was told about three weeks ago that I would hear from my EM within 14 days. Am I being sent a letter, or should I have heard from them by e-mail or a phone call? If it's mail then I'm not too worried, for my mail carrier is pretty slow. Thanks for any info!

Hi! Tracy Donaldson is our EM and she contacted us first by calling my cell phone. This was right before the holidays and I was really surprised to hear from her only two weeks after we sent in our LOA. Since then, I've gotten a couple emails from her, too. Also, she was very willing to set up our planning session for the 1st weekend in March! Lots of Luck!

I was told I'd receive the planning packet within two weeks and after over a month I called my SM and asked and she said I had an EM and what her name was and also gave me her number. I then searched the DIS for her name and found her email and sent her an email and she called me back the next day. So, to answer your question I had to contact mine first.

eeks! That's a little scary, especially since my wedding is in 3 months. I think I'll give it until Friday and then I'll start calling the following Monday. Thanks for the heads up!

well ive had my wedding booked since may 21 2004. i didnt recieve anything for about 2 months.
i maxine and only talked to her via email. i've never talked to her on the phone.
and those are because i emailed her.
my wedding is may 21, 2005. i'm starting to wonder if i'll even see her at my wedding!
