How do you find LSS in other areas?

We are going to NJ at the end of the month and i would really love to find a couple of stores to go "window" shopping in. Is there a good place to search to pull up stores by zip code radius?
We are going to Matawan to visit my DH best friend for 4 days.

Check the back of Creating Keepsakes magazine. There are shops listed in various states in there.

It's not easy. I just did 13 states, and found a few, but not in Jersey, unfortunately. One place I didn't expect to find info but did was at the state 'welcome' centers.

I would check the backs of all the major sb mags - some advertise in one but not the others.

They are easy to get to depending on where you're staying. Oh, there is also a new one opening up in Ramsey next weekend called Scrap-a-Doodle-Do.

When I lived in Jersey I used to go to Crop & Shop in Metuchen. It is not very far from Matawan. I also loved Scrapbook Station, but that is way down south. It would be a trek. They had tons of paper though.

Just be sure to call anyplace first. Some may have closed.

Crop & Shop has closed. Scrapbook Station has changed owners and I haven't been there in years since it's pretty far down.

I used to live in Matawan! But that was way before I started scrapbooking. I don't remember any art stores along the Main St but it would be worth checking as there were lots of little shops and one may have opened since then.

OGM! I just did remember the most fantastic art store though and it's only about 15 minutes away. Take the GSP up to Woodbridge and 9 North to Route 1 ~ Pearl Art Center is there. It looks like this little store when you walk in (back when I went only paint supplies were upstairs) but when you go downstairs you discover that it's actually under several of the 1st level stores in the strip mall.
