You can always fill the mattress with water, where the water is shooting out is the leak. Drain, patch, enjoy.
I wouldn't. Getting moisture in an air mattress leads to mold and mildew.

I gotta admit though, filling it with water would certainly reveal the leaks. Perhaps if you cut the mattress open afterwards it would help it to dry out.
Or gasoline.Or something that dries quickly like um acetone. Yea that should work.
