How do you exercise your dog when the weather is nasty?

Ted is a Springer Spaniel and likes the outdoors. I am the neighbor that everyone drives by my house and comments on how mean we are to the dog because he's out there in rain, snow, wind. If it's windy, he stands facing into the wind so his ears blow back!!!

I am out there in the rain, snow and wind fighting with him to come back in!!!! I guess those hunting breeds are bred to like the outdoors.

I used to have a springer spaniel, too. She LOVED being outside in any kind of weather so I know what you mean. We'd have to drag her back in.

This is the first dog I had who is a sissy about walking out in the snow. We thought she'd enjoy it but boy, were we wrong!

She's big enough that she can walk through it with no problem--she just CHOOSES not to.

Jazzy is a Brittney Spaniel...loves being outside!

Of course, picking all the 'snowballs' off her when she comes in isn't fun...think I need to get her a sweater or something! heheheh

Jazzy is absolutely beautiful! I used to have a Beagle named Jasmine, and that's what we used to call her.

If I could figure out how to post a picture inside of my post, I'd post one of Chloe, my Golden. She's HUGE and it's a funny picture.
