How do you drink Scotch

I've not tried Blue or Green--In fact I just noticed Green for the first time in the supermarket.

I had the chance to pick up a bottle of Blue on an international flight at the duty free - for a nice discount - it is absolutely fantastic...but way too pricey for every day consumption...only bring it out on the holidays. The Green is quite nice too, but I actually prefer the Glenfiddich 12 yr old special reserve.

We got the Green label for one of my friends when she was diagnosed with colon cancer. We figured that everyone else was sending her flowers, so we'd give her something that she'd really like.

When she completed all of her treatments and was cancer-free, we gave her another bottle of green label as a bookend for her to celebrate life!

That's exactly what I do. DW hates the smell of Laphroaig so much that she has to leave the room. So not only is it a great drink, it's also useful when I want some me-time.

If I'm drinking blended Scotch, I'll either have it on the rocks or with club soda. My blend of choice is Dewar's White Label.

Have you tried the JW Gold? That's my favorite of the JW line.

Laphroaig has a nice pete-y quality to it that I very much enjoy.

OPs have mentioned JW Blue & Green -- I'm going to have to give them a try.

Usually with club soda.

Equal parts of Scotch and Ameretto on the rocks. It's called a Godfather and it is sooo good!

That sounds interesting! Will try it tomorrow night.

not a huge scotch drinker, I prefer Bourbon or Rum, but when I do, with water if it is good stuff, with water and on the rocks if it is lessor stuff.
