I'd be interested to know how you all browse the DIS? Do you stick with just a few Boards, do you use the New Posts link all the time, just look at subscribed threads?

I'm a creature of habit, I go straight to the Australia forum, then to Disney Resorts to see whats new on the Yacht Club/Beach Club thread, and check in on Theme Park Attractions and Strategies. And that's about it most of the time.

Just wondering if I'm missing out on anything good? :)

I come to the Aussie section first, then go new posts and see if anything grabs me, but thats about it.
I wouldn't know if I missed out on anything

I've only just discovered the Aussie board, I am mostly on the coping and compassion board or the community board.
I enjoy the community board but it can be savage at times.

Quasar

but remember..we can be savage as well....ok, about other people not interested in Disney & our families, ok and some other people, oh and our battle with the bulge and page 5...but it can be brutal at times...reminds me of yr 9 sport.

i do Aussie boards, then DVC then resorts, then Aussie boards....cant get enough of the Aussie humour and sense of fun...

today was a bad day to give up alphabet yoga!

Well I am a sad sack - I dont have a Disney holiday planned but hang out here in the Aussie section - I check at least a couple of times a day for any posts - it really is an addicition :rotfl2:

I am hoping for a Tokyo Disney trip next year - but those forums move far too slow - (I know Bec, you are trying to get it moving!)

I think I might go and have a look at the community forum though, I like to lurk on a good argument!

I do the Aussie board first, then Tokyo, then photography, then depending on how much time I have I either check out the Disneyland area, the wedding boards, and then back here again

if you want to see how the other half live
go to wilderness camp ground section and check out their photos of the sites/RV's....some are huge.....
shame we cant "camp" like that

I think I'm better off not seeing it. I have a stance that I don't camp. If I see their version of camping it might get me thinking, and I can't afford to think like that :rotfl2:

I love camping !!

(when the weather is good!, our last few trips have not faired so well and we have had to pack up early and come home and try and dry everything out - not so much fun then )

but you have to lug so much stuff - and you end up spending way too much money on gear !

I'm a mainly Aussie forum. I do from time to time check out the Disneyland forum.

Is the budget forum any good? Always looking for a bargin. :)

Straight to the Aussie forum lots of times throughout the day. About once or twice a week I check out the Theme Park Attactions area, an very occasionally I look at the resort board.

I do however after a few champagnes like to trawl the Disney Restaurants board, most especially the food porn threads. :rotfl2:

Always the Aussie/(NZ!!) forum first.
And then the Disneyland forum (loved the Carsland updates) and an occassional look at Disneyland trips.
I can see when I plan for a visit to WDW in a few years time I will be completely overwhelmed by the WDW side of the DIS.
Hopefully all you Aussies will help me out then :thumbsup2

Wow, it's great to see the ANZAC spirit is alive and well - I think almost everyone comes here first. ( Not surprising - I don't think they have ninja-pirates anywhere else.... :rotfl: )

I clearly need to check out the community forum for some entertainment and the camping forum to see how the other half lives. We've seen those massive Winnebagos with the 4WD's trailing along behind and thought I'd love to do that one day :)

I'd forgotten about the food porn threads - but I'm not sure if they go with the good intentions being fostered on the "Get Fit" thread :lmao:

Well ever since I found it a couple of years ago, I bookmarked the Aussie boards and always come straight here. Always first thing in the morning when I get online as there have normally been some updates from you Aussies since I'd last checked the night before since, due to the time difference, you are on it later than I am. Then I check it probably two or three more times throughout the day and evening. Sad I know but I developed this addiction during our WDW trip planning and its a hard one to shake even though its not good for trying to curb my WDW wanderlust! :rotfl2:

Back when I was planning our WDW trip, I'd start here then jump up to the main boards and check the POR thread, the Theme Parks forum, the Disney Restaurants forum and the Disney Trip Reports forum. However I don't venture elsewhere anymore because it does me no good psychologically (pining for WDW as I do) and, whilst it's quite hard to read about everyone's repeat WDW trips here on the Aussie board (knowing that I'm unlikely to have another), I come here for more of a social board.

with that attitude, I'm guessing you'll have another... :thumbsup2

I just come here for the social side of things. You can generally get answers to your questions alot faster on other sections of the boards

I lurve the food porn threads!!

where are these links ?? i wish to pay homage to that which i cannot have :)

i like to do my rounds several times a day...

at 5.30am when i wake up, before heading to work.

at 7.30am when i get to work.

around 12 on my lunch break.

around 6pm ish when i get home from work.

then i troll the rest of the boards: disneyland forum for our upcoming trip, the crusie forum (for our cruise meet thread, then the homemade FE gifts thread, then check in on the TR thread)

then back here to the aussie/nz thread before heading off to sleepy byes.
