i booked my christmas trip in june, 6 months in advance. the wait is a pain in the A**. knowing i have a trip coming and nothing to do but wait an wait..

i've seen on here where some of you book a year or so in advance,
how do those of you that book a trip a year or more in advance deal with the wait ?

We booked 18 months in advance. I don't particularly think it's anything to deal with - you KNOW you have a trip coming up so it's not too bad :teeth:

IMO this trip came around WAY too quickly - for me anticipation and build up is half of the fun (along with planning and actually BEING there!!)

My record was booking a trip in November 1992 for 12/23/99-1/3/00.

Actually we normally had two or three trips on schedule at all times until we moved down here, so there was never a real long wait. Also we were active with the NFFC at home, lived very close to several Disney Stores, and I was Magic Kingdom Club Chapter Director for the Federal Judiciary.

I think the longest wait has been around 9 months...but now that I go atleast once a year I start planning as soon as I leave the parks for my next Disney Adventure. I'm so blessed to be able to go this year twice. I'm actually giddy with excitement...I leave in 4 days!!!!!!!!! woo hooooooooo. I'm gonna be dancing with Mickey or Goofy...Pluto or Donald Fri. night at MNSSHP!!! Yippie!!!!!!!!or maybe even Jack Sparrow....ummmmmm oh how a girl can dream!!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 pirate: princess: :joker: :bounce:

We've had our Dec. 2006 trip booked for about a year now. I like knowing that we've got a trip coming up. Also, its fun to plan it...where to eat? what extras do we want to do? Plus, booking it that far ahead gives us the time to save the money for everything we want to do. (We're students, so money can be hard to come by! :goodvibes ) To pass the time before our trip, we simply talk the trip to death! I'm sure everyone is pretty tired of hearing about our upcoming trip by now! We can't help! We love WDW! :lovestruc

i'm rolling on here! now i see why you have the dirty old man rep lolol...still waiting for my beer and steak!!! Janet :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: pirate: :rolleyes1
