It was suggested to me to decorate our rented stroller with something so I will be able to find it when we have it parked at the rides etc. Any and all ideas welcome, we leave in 2 days!!! Do I just buy a big Micky balloon at the park and tie it on will it survive a 7 day trip? I think that would be a pain on the bus too?

We're having one shipped from Amazon (it was cheaper for us than renting)...anyway, I plan to get some of the patterned duct tape and wrap around the metal parts and then tie a matching, bright ribbon to the handle. I think that will make it stand out and won't get in the way when we have to fold down on a bus.

Thank you for posting this thread. I had not thought to decorate my stroller. I would worry that a bandana might fall off so I think I will do the patterned duct tape. I'm sure my older kids would LOVE to help me decorate their baby brother's stroller. Maybe we can even find Disney themed duct tape... hmm.. Thanks for the great tip!!

I'm a bit of a nut, so what I did was create stroller tags that I'm going to tie on the handles with some bright package ribbon... Here's what I did:

For the twins' stroller

For my Elsa obsessed 4 year old:

And for our friends, also with twins:

I went last Christmas, so I bought battery operated Christmas LED tree lights and wrapped it around the top half of the stroller. It looked nice, and I had absolutely no problem finding DW when we split up for a few minutes.

I made a stroller tag with our name on it and on the first day bought a mickey head balloon and tied it to the handle. It was easy to find. But watch out for the balloon when pushing the stroller I couldn't tell you how many times it hit one of us in the head or someone passing by :scared: also it rained one day and the balloon would not stay afloat :confused3 but when it stopped raining and the balloon dried it was fine again.

There are some great options on etsy for stroller tags (if you're like me and could create a stroller tag but would just rather pay someone else to do the work and laminate it. :rotfl: )

I've heard of tying balloons, scarves, ribbons, etc. I saw someone post something about attaching glow bracelets in case you're searching for it after dark.

Check out the creative disigns thread for stroller tags. Those folks are super creative.

We used a balloon the first trip with a stroller and it was awful. It kept hitting us and people near us.

Last trip I taped a neon pink card with our contact info to a side bar of the stroller. That was enough for us.

I bought clips that hold towels to beach chairs. They are bright pink, easy to pack and fit perfectly around the stroller handle. Easy to see in the sea of strollers.
