How do you create a glittery iron- on transfer

I love glittery sparkly lettering and images on t-shirts but I have no Idea how to make them. Is there a special kind of paper or ink or spray? If anyone knows how to create sparkly glittery iron-on transfers please help.

Also if you know how to make metallic transfers like gold and silver (is it the ink?) Please share.

I don't know how to make gold or silver ink. But I know to make the shirts gllittery you can either use a spray or glittery fabric paint. I have used the fabric paint to make things glitterry but have never used the spray on fabric.
Here is one type of glitter spray with instructions.

With the glitter fabric paint you just brush it over the design and leave it dry for 24-48 hours depending on the paints' instructions.

Thanks does it stand up to washing very well or do you find that it needs to be reapplied.
