how do you create a counter?

I can't figure out how to put a counter in my signature line. Can anyone help. We leave for Disney in 22 days and I want to shout it out!! Thanks so much

I am trying to do my counter. I get as far as clicking "generate/reselect script and then it tells me I'm not logged on, even though I am logged on. Any suggestions??
