How do you check APH room rates online?

I am wondering if I should buy an AP to get better hotel rates, but I cannot see anywhere online to check rates before I make a decision on the AP. Can anyone help? Are they 'checkable' online or do you have to call? Thanx.

Yes, go to www.loewshotels.com and click on your hotel under destinations. Fill in the info and let it give you a normal rate. Then click on new search at the top left of the page (in the white part, not the blue part where it says start over) and this time fill in APH as your promotion code. It should come up with the annual pass rates.

My Super Saver rate is cheaper than the APH rate so I will keep my current ressie at PBH. Does that happen often - that SS rates are cheaper than APH?

SS rates usually are cheaper than AP rates depending on the season you book it for.

Sometimes the rates are really scrambled when they come up on the website. Take a good look as there can be one really good rate mixed into a bunch of not so good rates.

Rates vary. Now that APH rates give you benefits, we'll all probably pay more attention to them.

Length of stay also has a lot to do with it. If you are going for two days, the APH rate is probably better but for anything longer, the supersaver rate may be better.

I saw what you mean about the scrambled rates - they were definitely not listed in 'order'.

We have a six night stay at PBH, so that may have added to the SS rate being cheaper than the APH.

Add to it all the fact that I also got the free kids tickets with the SS rate - well, it sure is a sweet deal to stay at the PBH!!
