Looking online at wifes "corporate" wellness site and finding a better deal by buying "e tickets" not only is it a better deal price wise it also saves on shipping.

Wife wants a "hard" ticket as a souvenir.

So do I have to convert an e ticket to hard ticket? And if so how do I do it?

A will-call voucher? You would need to go to a guest services at a park or DTD to convert that voucher to a park ticket (which are now all plastic RFID cards)

To Disney history buffs, E tickets were the old ride vouchers for the best rides...so now, you hear about rides like Space Mountain, EE, RnR as "E Ticket" rides.

I am old enough to know about E ticket rides. Kinda like a floppy disk when they truly where floppy.

Think an E mailed ticket would be the best route then as there is no benefit to get them mailed as on our first night we are doing dinner in DTD anyway.

At guest service could we upgrade to Magic Bands we we decide to go that route?

FYI, have you compared your wife's corporate discount to other authorized resellers like Undercover Tourist(w/mousesavers link) or Maple Leaf? I know UT sends the real ticket cards.
One year, I used Tickets At Work because their express delivery was less, but otherwise the T@W taxes and shipping was more for normal delivery.

I did and they are currently more than corporate.

How would you get into the park without a physical ticket (or magic band)? I guess I'm not sure what an "e ticket" is.

If you are staying onsite, the magic band is free. If you are staying offsite, you will have to exchange a voucher (or whatever an e ticket is) at guest services to receive an RFID-equipped park pass (plastic card).

I think I read on another thread that they are selling magic bands at the parks now. I would assume you can do that at guest relAtions at any park.

Don't know about the world but at the Land you use to be able to scan the bar code off tickets printed at home as each had an unique bar code. This was when FP legacy was around.

With the World needing hard tickets I need to convert the Emailed ticket to a hard ticket.

Yup.

Just go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations at the parks, TTC, or DTD to be issued a flat plastic ticket.
